This process makes it possible to produce close tolerance highly complex precision CNC machined parts with fine finishes combining CNC Swiss Turning and CNC Milling features on both ends of the high precision Swiss Machined parts in a single operation. The benefits of this includes reducing cost and lead time. Plus a product completed in a single CNC Swiss Screw Machining operation leaves less chance for error due to multiple changeovers. A typical order sizes range from 100 pieces to several thousand pieces of precision Swiss Screw Machined parts.
Precision CNC Swiss Machining (Swiss Turn) is the process where bar stock material spins at a high rate of speed as it is fed into the CNC Swiss machine while the cutting tools produce the profile of the part.
